Obama’s new Defence Trinity

"Two Johns and a Chuck"
"...They know better than to try and win wars by winning them.
Instead they believe that we can only win by losing...
and two Johns and a Chuck can't be wrong"

One of the main reasons why I don’t want Daniel Greenfield to become President of the USA or Prime Minister of Israel is that he would then probably not have the time to write - and I just love his his pearls. Here are some extracts from his latest gem:

"The one thing that Hagel, Kerry and Brennan all have in common, besides being Washington insiders, is that they all agree that terrorism is basically a misunderstanding
…[snip].....
they have spent decades marinating in talking points and they know, for example, that terrorism is due to poverty and that Islamic terrorists aren't really Muslim, they just try to convince us that they are to trick us into going to war with Islam.
...[snip]...
Liberal misunderstanders take a look at almost any atrocity, and sigh wearily and ask, with the patience of saints, "Don't you understand that we made them do it?"
...[snip]...
The people who think this way aren't just some smelly hippies sunning themselves at a protest rally; they're the next Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense and CIA Director of the United States.
...[snip]...
Our three new leading foreign policy figures [...] have that blank distant look of dimwitted men who fancy themselves intelligent, They think that the talking points they have borrowed from the Saudis explain everything
...[snip]...
...This isn't a war of ideas, at least not the kind that we can play a part in. Islamic theological debates are as abstract and irrelevant to us as Communist debates over the finer points of Historical Materialism. It can be helpful to understand them if you're making a detailed study of the enemy, but most wars really come down to a group expanding its power and territory through conquest. It can't be won by making Al Qaeda look bad with some Saudi inspired "Hearts and Minds" campaign. It can only be won on the battlefield.
Kerry, Hagel and Brennan are men of nuance. They know better than to try and win wars by winning them. Instead they believe that we can only win by losing, triumphing through appeasement and securing a permanent peace by letting ourselves get kicked around while fighting with one hand tied behind our backs. They are not interested in what we can do to win, but in the least we can do to wait out the war until the inevitable force of progressivism finally reaches deep into Kandahar, Riyadh and Tehran bringing with it gay bars, mandatory abortion coverage and the brotherhood of all mankind."

Geert Wilders

!!!Welcome to Australia Geert Wilders!!!

"It's not easy to be Geert Wilders"
writes Mark Steyn in his foreword to "Marked for Death".

I'm holding this book by Geert Wilders in my hands right now and look at the dedication; it reads:

"To Rita,
in the twilight struggle of the West.
                          Mark Steyn".

Why not signed by the author himself? Well I didn't think that I would ever get close enough to Geert Wilders. But now I will, because, despite the efforts of the Australian government  who tried everything  in their  little red book to prevent this extremely brave man from coming, he will be here, in Australia, and I will have a second signature in this book: his.

"Wilders lives under 24/7 armed guard because significant numbers of motivated people wish to kill him" writes Steyn and "...when the leader of the third biggest party in one of the oldest democratic legislatures on earth has to live under constant threat of murder and be forced to live in "safe houses" for almost a decade, something is badly wrong in "the most tolerant country in Europe"...

...  In twenty-first-century Amsterdam, you're free to smoke marijuana and pick out a half-naked sex partner from the front window of her shop. But you can be put on trial (as Wilders was) for holding the wrong opinion about a bloke who died in the seventh century". (I don't actually think that Geert Wilders' opinion is 'wrong')...

"The years roll on..." writes Steyn,  "and 'the most tolerant country in Europe' is an increasingly incoherent polity where gays are bashed, uncovered women get jeered in the street, and you can't do 'The Diary of Anne Frank' as your school play lest the Gestapo walk-ons are greeted by audience cries of "She's in the attic!!".

Wether Geert Wilders will be bringing tulips from Amsterdam, when he arrives here in a couple of weeks, I don't know, but I still cannot resist a schmaltzy but cute  cliché if I have the slightest excuse to play one ;)

Egyptian sisters are doing it for themselves...

Normally I rather like men, but, at present, I would follow any travel advice which told me: "Do not travel to Egypt if you are a woman, too many men of the 'untrustworthy' kind there at the moment". Of course, some women don't have a choice, like those who are there already (she says stating the obvious).

Christine Tasin from Resistance Republicaine writes:

"Here is a video that says it  all about men-women relationships in the so-called muslim religion. In Cairo, there are train carriages that are reserved for women only, to prevent sexual harassment, so, when men occupy them, it causes a little riot.
Conclusion: here is the proof  that the veil does not protect the famous modesty of women, because in addition (to the veil), the women still need the protection of men. This is also the proof that this so-called ideal religion transforms men into rutting animals who lose it as soon as they see a woman, veiled or not."

!!!Yayyyyyyy!!!
I don't know why
(or perhaps I do)
I find this video
thoroughly satisfying,
 not to say exhilarating
!!!Yayyyyyy!!!

A Jew free Palestine?

This is not about "peace", this is about civil rights, Jewish Civil Rights !! says Caroline Glick with a passion and intelligence that bowl  me over. After listening to this tape (which, once again I found in this  treasure trove that is vlad tepes) I felt like typing WOW in capital letters  and add enough exclamations marks to qualify  as an unmistakable "right-winger". ( "right wingers" use more exclamation marks than "normal people" I am told).

WOW !!!!!!!! Caroline Glick!!!! What a woman!!!!! Courageous and intelligent!!!!!!!!

If you don't have the time to watch the full 10 minutes  please do watch at least the last 4 minutes.

WOW!!!! What a woman!!!!!

I don't know what music to play after this one, it would have to be at least as powerful as Wagner - but I'm not one to rub salt into wounds, at least not deliberately, and I don't think Caroline Glick needs musical accompaniment.

Postcard from Mali

It is clear that the Mali people would rather be re-colonised by France than enslaved by islam, and in the Streets of Bamako  there are  more French flags flying than in France these days.

In my not-so-humble opinion, to come to the aid of Mali was the first good  presidential decision by Francois Hollande and  he is paying the price already within France, of course, the very much increased  presence of security forces in the Streets of Paris shows this.  If the loathsome Minister for Justice, Christine Taubira (*) is spitting chips at the moment, my Schadenfreude will be something to behold...

Prenez garde, jeunes soldats Français; on pense à vous!

(*) Increased security forces in the streets of Paris today

(*)First initiative Christine Taubira took after  undeservedly getting this powerfull job in the newly elected socialist government was to emasculate the  French police force and empower the most dangerous criminal elements in France. Young thugs from the no-go migrant areas, mostly arab and sub-Saharan muslims, will not be going to prison any longer under her plan, because “they are carrying the weight of their former colonisation on their  shoulders” she is reported to have said.

Update:

The Taliban of Timbuktu by The New York Times:

"BEFORE the recent French intervention in Mali began, 412,000 people had already left their homes in the country's north, fleeing torture, summary executions, recruitment of child soldiers and sexual violence against women at the hands of the  militants...[...]...First the islamists banned music in a country with one of the richest musical traditions in the world. Last July, they stoned an unmarried couple for adultery. The woman, a mother of two, had been buried up to her waist in a hole before a group of men pelted her to death with rocks. And in October the Islamist occupiers began compiling lists of unmarried mothers..."

*M*arked for *Mohammed*

While the prosecution of  sexual child abusers by the Australian government and media  is concentrating nearly exclusively  (and, I think, obsessively)  on what the Catholic Church has done  in the  near and distant past, this is what is happening right NOW in the UK (and  who knows in what other Western countries).

Seven men of Pakistani origin and two from North Africa are accused of 79 offences against six vulnerable white British girls. The charges include child rape, sexual trafficking and child prostitution. A girl of 11 was sold to a child trafficker who branded her with his initial, a court heard yesterday. Mohammed Karrar, 38, also loaned her to abusers around the country for £600 an hour, it was alleged.

Noel Lucas QC, prosecuting, said Karrar – known as Egyptian Mo – bought the youngest victim from an unnamed man just after her 11th birthday. He befriended her with gifts of perfume and hard drugs but then began to beat her up and raped her, the Old Bailey was told.
He branded her with one of her hair pins, which he had twisted into the shape of an ‘M’ and heated with a cigarette lighter. It left a scar on her left buttock.

Over five years she was repeatedly raped by large groups of men in what she described as ‘torture sex’, the jury was told.  from here

Daniel Greenfield  gives us an islamic perspective in this  Frontpage Magazin article:

“You [Mohammed] are not permitted to take any further wives, nor to exchange the wives you have for others, even if these attract you with their beauty. But this does not apply to your slave-girls.” (Quran 33:52)

And here is a more in-depth article about the subject from  Robert Spencer.

By the Rivers of Babylon

By the waters, the waters of Babylon
We lay down and wept, and wept, for thee Zion
We remember thee, remember thee Zion

By the rivers of Babylon,
there we sat down
ye-eah we wept,
when we remembered Zion.

When the wicked
Carried us away in captivity
Required from us a song
Now how shall we sing the lord's song
in a strange land

Yeah Yeah Yeah
Let the words of our mouth
and the meditations of our hearts
be acceptable in thy sight
here tonight

By the rivers of Babylon,
there we sat down
ye-eah we wept,
when we remembered Zion

Une lettre Francaise of Despair

Here  is a letter  that a despairing French citizen wrote to Riposte Laique:

"Je suis témoin que la France va mal, alors je partage"
I am witness that our France is not well, so I share.

My translation shows probably  more “good will” than “proficiency” ;)

Alsace: how about fifteen of “young ones”(*) have spoiled our New-Years eve .

I want to share with you what happened to us on the 1st January 2013 at 0 h 20, as we celebrated la Saint Sylvestre (New Years Eve):

My family and I, we were 12, had dined, peacefully in my apartment in the heart of our town of Saverne (67700) At midnight, as tradition demands, especially in Alsace, we step out into our street to light our fire crackers. We had bought them on the day and they were all legal in Alsace. We had fun, like many other people, just outside our house. We laughed.

On the pavement opposite, a little higher up, a group of about 15 individuals shouted, jumping up and down, louder than everyone else and attracted attention.

It was 20 past midnight when it started. It happened very fast. A huge firecracker landed between my Partner and me exploding at our feet, so loud that I could hardly hear any more. Nearly simultaneously we saw a great number of lit-up projectiles coming in our direction. Yes, they were aiming their firecrackers directly at us. My mother received a firecracker on her head, her hairs burnt, and she was hurting. Half of my family went back into the house.

3 more courageous members of my family went across to meet them. They tried to talk to them and to calm them down but they were truly very exited. The discussion led to nothing else except to finish the soiree with a wave of insults directed at the women: “dirty whore, I will put a mortar in your cunt, fat whore…“ and at French society: “ I fuck France, I fuck you all, I fuck you deeply, fuck France and the French…“ and more which I will spare you….

We were forced to retreat into our house, an evening of St. Sylvestre , we had not even used all our firecrackers. The celebrations were stopped short, sadly, and against our wishes. We had been in front of our own home and we were forced to retreat back in, to keep silent and to take the weight of this verbal and physical aggression.

The next day we came across some police of our town of Saverne. We told them what had happened. They answered us that they had avoided this street, because they knew that their presence would excite “them” even more.

Is that what the uniform is there for? To watch the citizens getting attacked like that? To look good when issuing parking tickets? That’s easier of course!!

Later on we read in the papers and on the Internet, that from 0 h30 to 2 am, a group waged war on this little town which is usually so calm.

Voilà, it’s a tale, a rant, a despair, because more and more we hear, we see events of this kind.

I am witness that our France is not well, so I share.

Thank you for having taken a few minutes to read what I had to say.
Cordialement,
Alison Pardon

Postcards from Israel in the snow

Ecoles, routes et transports publics étaient fermés à Jérusalem et dans le nord d'Israël jeudi à la suite d'une tempête de neige inédite depuis 20 ans.

Schools and public transports were closed in Jerusalem and in the North of Israel following a snowstorm the like of which has not been seen there for 20 years. (Photos from IsraelyCool)

Postcard from around Londonistan

“What’s so special about Malala?”, asks one of the Muslims (of this what I’m told is a typical UK street scape  these days) rhetorically:

hat tip to Vlad Tepes
Update May 2015:
Yet another video deleted by Big Brother: The message posted instead  means "people" have complained about the video. Today, I have forgotten what video it was, but the same "people" are still getting videos deleted by the thousands, and I am sure  these complaints would - to quote Obama and assorted suspicious politicians - "...have-nothing-to-do-with-islam..."

Since the "media" has latched  onto this case in a big way, these  muslims seem  to  show a little something akin to  shame - in their own weird  way of course, which  is: blaming the horrid deed  on anyone except themselves. First finger-pointed target are usually the bad bad Jews. This time it’s the  bad bad CIA .

But,  just  imagine, if the media would do their job ethically by reporting the ugly truth more often and name the beast by its name, the so-called moderate muslims  might develop a sense of shame and eventually condemn such acts by their brothers unequivocally.

But I think the 4th Estate is a lost cause, it's up to us "the 5th Estate" to "NOT go gentle into that good night..."

With apologies to Dylan Thomas, I would like to title this one:

Calling the West...

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

From Russia with Love

Here is a  little exchange I had at Vlad Tepes regarding this story:

"A flotilla of five Russian warships laden with hundreds of troops, which is headed toward Syria, is a show of force meant to deter Western armies from intervening in the war-torn nation, the London-based Sunday Times reported...."

  1. Rita says:

  2. Dana says:

  3. Rita says:

    @ Dana

    As the man said:
    “All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;…”

    ;)

Except that on that stage, unlike in Opera where they start to sing when they are stabbed, they die.
But even if it is just “theater”, it will create a perception, and we know that perception often becomes reality;  I hope that the reality coming out of this will put a stop to Obama et al spreading the Muslim Brotherhood even more all over the place.

AL-Jezeera

AL GORE, the born-again  environ-mentalist and Guru to the Greens despite sporting one of  the biggest personal carbon foot prints in the West has  just sold his US TV station to the Qatar-financed propaganda news source AL-JAZEERA for an estimated US$400 - US$500 million.

What to expect from such a network? The Washington Free Beacon has just  compiled seven of Al Jazeera’s greatest hits  to provide some clues:

1. Al-Qaeda’s Anwar al-Awlaki praised Al Jazeera.
2. Egyptian Salafist Muhammad al-Zawahiri justified 9/11 in an Al Jazeera appearance.
3. Al Jazeera staffers chanted ‘down with fascist America’ on air.
4. Sudan’s president slammed the U.S. government’s human rights record on Al Jazeera.
5. Hugo Chavez called Al Jazeera a “model of honor, bravery, and the fight for justice”.
6. Al Jazeera aired a series of Sheikh Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi speeches on how the Jews deserved to be punished by Hitler.
7. Al Jazeera interviewed Afghan Mujahideen leader on Osama bin Laden’s death:  "Americans (are) barbarians, who mutilate bodies”

All Australian tax-payer funded media organisations also use Al Jazeera quite extensively as their "news" sources.

Amin Farouk, a journalist based in the middle east, writes in the Gatestone Institute
"Al-Jazeera, which bought Current TV from Al Gore, is not a communications medium in the Western sense. It is a psychological warfare medium, a fundamentalist terrorist communications base operating under Qatari cover. It sets its sights on changing regimes..."

I post this  little music video with the refrain  "Cut off a head for Al Jazeera"  with the warning that it is confronting and may offend even those who do not belong to the "Nation of the permanently Offended". ( H/T Winds of Jihad).

Update 19.1.2013

"The Emir of Qatar, an absolute ruler, and Al Jazeera, have not covered the "Arab Spring" to advance democracy, but to support the Muslim Brotherhood, which is aligned with the Qatari regime. Al Jazeera has as its chief goal Muslim Brotherhood domination..."
writes   Najat Fawzy AlSaied from the Gatestone Institute

The soft racism of low expectations

"...Israel is the  frontline between islam and civilisation..."
so says Pat Condell who, once again, hits every nail on the head in this wake-up call:

Spain to help murder of ex muslim

Here is the cry for help from Imran Firasat:

"Friends,

I am sad and shocked. Where is my right of freedom of expression? Why instead of being protected, I am being persecuted by the Spanish authorities? Is it a crime now to speak the truth about Islam? Am I going to die because of my opinions on Islam? I need the world´s support. If I get deported to Pakistan (which is highly probable now), then never anyone will dare to fight publicly against Islam´s violent ideology and the world will have to submit to Islam. Please raise your voice for me and help me to be protected. Thank you very much..."

Here is the song:

Happy New Year

...and may the best of 2012 the worst that you can expect for 2013.
